SLJ Mystery Code/Cipher – Kickstart

For this SLJ task I had to decipher some codes and the atabash one was easy to me while I found the pig pen one really hard but i tried my best and did all the activities and my favourite cipher was probably the pig pen one because it was challenging and different to any other type of code/cipher I’ve ever seen but overall this task was really fun, easy and challenging to do.

Tessellations – Step It Up

For SLJ today I made an irregular tessellation art and the difference between semi – regular and irregular tessellation is that an irregular tessellation uses tiles of different shapes and sizes that do not fit together in the same pattern while a semi-irregular tessellation is a tessellation that has shapes of both regular and irregular tessellations.

(SLJ) Vibrant Viola – Kick Start

For this SLJ task I had to use a website to recreate Ode To Joy By Beethoven which is music and it was hard but easy at the same time and it was also very fun to do and also here is the link to my recreation of it:

And here are 5 facts about Beethoven:

He passed away at the age of 56!

No one actually knows when he was born!

He was born in Germany.

When he was 46 he became deaf.

Beethoven was only 11 years old when he made his first piece of music!

(SLJ) Under The Sea (Kick Start)

For this SLJ Task I had to make a puzzle of anything about the sea or in the sea so I did a puzzle of this canoe and people on it and we also had to make a slide of if we wanted to go fishing what sea creatures would you want to see so I chose a dolphin, beluga whale, jellyfish, crab and a star fish here are some fun facts about each sea creature I just listed:

Beluga Whale – A beluga whale lives up to 30 – 50 years!

Dolphin – Did you know that dolphins have 2 stomachs just like cows! the first one stores food whilst the other one digests food.

Crab – Some crabs can see all around them (360 degrees)

Starfish – A starfish isn’t actually a fish and starfish can also have more than 5 arms!

Jellyfish – Did you know that jellyfish are actually 98% made of water!

Which one was your favourite?
